Check this out

Sean, being the absolute lunatic that he is, went out and bought me a new camera. I guess the squeaky wheel really does get the grease. 🙂 It’s a Canon Rebel XTi and I totally LOVE it. This morning, I got up and took some pictures in my yard and now I might have to take up gardening, too because I realized there isn’t much out there to photograph! Although, with this camera it seems even the weeds look good. Here are some of my shots from this morning, keep in mind, I have no idea what I’m doing, just messing around with the camera. These are not to be held to some high standard!

This is a Crepe Myrtle in our backyard.

It’s going to be wonderful to be able to capture the kids and their adventures with this camera. I’m so excited!

Kiss him once for Me! (too) 🙂
    woohoo!
    How wonderful.
Learn a few tricks, and take some pics for me, too, won’t you? At least until Wednesday at about 3:00 (the usual time the UPS guy goes barrelling up my street)……

  2. Roger that! I took some pics and loaded them onto flickr.com so if you’d like to check out what I’ve done so far you can go there and search for whimsigal’s photos.

I’m totally in the dark when it comes to photography and know nothing about all the technical terms, etc.

Your camera comes on Wednesday? How exciting!!! What a sweet daddy you have to give you a gift like that. I can’t wait to see what you do with it.

  3. Hey.
I tried, but didn’t come up with anything for whimsigal.
