Play Date aka Kid Mosh

My husband hates the term “play date” and has instead coined the phrase “kid mosh” to describe what happens when the boys get together with their friends. It is infinitely more appropriate. Today, Ryan had his friend Daniel over and all three boys had such a good time. Before unschooling, these types of get togethers would really stress me out. I would worry about messes, boo boos, what everyone was eating, but today, I released all that negative energy and just decided to go with the flow. It was a great kid mosh, probably more because I wasn’t hovering over them trying to control their play.
